Name: Jeff Malenke

Occupation/School Attending: Electronic Technician

Volleyball experience: Men's and Co-Ed player for 25 plus years. Member of MSF state tournament teams 2nd place class C (1998) and 3rd place class CC (2004). Volleyball official for Waseca Public Schools, 7th, 8th and 9th grade and Waseca Community Education adult leagues for 12 years. JO 14's team parent. JO 15's volleyball coach.

Team expectations: Anticipation, awareness, hustle and fun. Practice makes perfect, but game experience ties it all together. Volleyball is the ultimate team sport.

Amanda Beekman - 17's

Name: Amanda Beekman

Hometown: Marshall, MN

Occupation/School Attending: Student studying special education

Volleyball experience: I started playing volleyball in 8th grade. As a sophomore, I started on the Varsity team where we won state. As a junior, I was awarded all conference, all state, all tournament and all area player of the year. During my senior year, I was awared all conference, all state, all tournament and co-area player of the year. During my freshman year at MSU I was awarded all conference, all region honorable mention and NSIC sophomore of the year. During my sophomore year at MSU I was awarded all conference. During my senior year at Marshall I coached a Marshall JO 12's and a Lakeview 18's team. During my freshman year at MSU I coached Omeja16's.

Team expectations: I want the girls to work hard and take pride in what they do. Be open minded to anything and be coachable. Be determined and competitive. Never settle for average and push themselves and teammate at all times in practice and games. I want them to enjoy being part of a team and love playing the sport because that is the point.
